Why do you work? Are you motivated to go to work because of external rewards such as money or recognition? Or maybe it’s about the passion that drives you? Do you care about the feeling of personal contribution, chances of promotion or flexible work arrangements?

In this lesson you will look at various motivators such as recognition and praise, empowerment, sense of security or fringe benefits that may work for you or your subordinates. You will also know what questions are worth asking during an appraisal meeting or what questions you should be ready to answer.
