Listen to the recording before you do the exercises.

In this lesson you will learn how to present yourself as a candidate preparing for a job interview or how to describe personality traits of a future employee you may be looking for. As you can see, there are additonal tasks under most of the exercises. Follow the instructions and do the tasks carefully.

In the following two exercises you will find two sets of sentences. Please complete them with adjectives that describe personality. The lists of adjectives are provided below the exercises in the pdf files. They include Polish explanations of the adjectives. If there is still a word or a phrase you are not sure about, check it in the dictionary. It is essential for you to fully understand the vocabulary used in each lesson.

Now, try describe yourself, your boss or your peer worker. You can make about five sentences with the adjectives from the exercises above. If you need more practice, you can write the sentences but don’t forget to read them aloud. It will help you remember them better. You can also record the sentences using your smartphone, listen to them and correct if needed. It will give more more practice and confidence.

Below you will find a short recording presenting personality adjectives used in job interviews . Listen carefully and complete the missing words. You can listen to the recording as many times as you want. The recording should open in another window. You can pause it at any moment. You can also check the answers whenever you like.

When you finish the exercise, it is recommended to repeat aloud the words or phrases you find new or challenging. Another idea is to make your own list of the new phrases. When you handwrite them, it will be easier for you to remember them better and use successfully in the future. You can also make a few sentences with these words in the same way as you did after the first two exercises. Don’t forget to read the sentences aloud. Please remember, you will find the translations in the pdf file below. For further assisstance, consult your dictionary.
